My name is Brianna Olive, and I am senior university student in Miami, Florida. Throughout my years in Miami I was put in contact with a nonprofit organization called the Women's Breast & Heart Initiative. I began volunteering with them, and from there my interest and attention grew in regards to the work that they do. Aside from the amazing staff I was getting to know, I was continually growing in knowledge from the information they were sharing with me. I learned how important it is to promote the lifestyle necessary for breast cancer and heart disease prevention, and I learned how easy it was to live that lifestyle. I felt that was important for me to share my knowledge with as many people as possible. So I founded a club on my university campus, where the community is young and impressionable. I did this in hopes of our college community learning these important life skills early on so that they can carry the information with them throughout their lives, sharing it along the way. My intentions are to share posts on this platform that directly support the work that we do as a club, as an organization, and as educated women forging our way in society.
